2015 - September 2018After EE’s acquisition in April 2016 Xavier was seconded into EE for 2 years, managing SIM & OTA migration plans for BT Mobile into EE. Currently going through Xavier’s plan to move BT Mobile to use EE SIMs and EE OTA. Since 2017, Xavier has taken the role of IoT device management solution designer and assisted on BT’s LoRa deployment plans, vendor selection and adjudication, and impacted on the BT IoT strategy.

2011 - 2015Xavier was the technical lead for the 1st UK LTE network trialed by BT and EE (with NSN and Huawei as vendors). Xavier managed the relationship with the vendors and any in-life issues to keep to delivery times and budget agreed. Xavier collected requirements and facilitated their implementation and test. Xavier presented the results to BT senior managers. Xavier was the technical Lead on a project to deliver WiFi on board of airplanes and designed and managed a trial on-board one of the planes, taking requirements from Easyjet, British airways and BT, finding a common ground and agreeing the budget and delivery times. Xavier was the main person responsible of OTA management of SIM and devices, resolving any in live bugs, fixes, expansions or improvements, agreeing the cost and delivering them in a timely manner. Xavier took over the position of SIM designer, designing all the SIMs currently live with BT.

Basketball, music, reading technology news (specially smart things and IoT) and trekking. Web building and web management is one of my hobbies.
